2015 Electric successfully delivered 2 sets of the world's second largest capacity 

dry type transformers!

In September 2015, good news came from Hainan Jinpan Electric Co., Ltd.: the company 

has successfully developed and delivered two dry type transformers with the second largest 

capacity in the world - two 35000KVA dry type transformers! The successful delivery of these 

two ultra large capacity products is another industry record set by Jinpan Electric after 

developing the world's largest capacity of 40000 KVA dry type transformers in 2012: 

simultaneously producing and delivering two ultra large capacity dry type transformers!

Jinpan Electric is a national high-tech enterprise established in Haikou Free Trade Zone 

in 1993 and listed on NASDAQ in the United States in 1998. Currently, it has four 

manufacturing bases in Haikou, Wuhan, Shanghai, and Guilin, two electrical research institutes, 

and branches in the United States and Hong Kong. The company focuses on the research and

According to the relevant person in charge of the company, dry-type transformers have better

 environmental protection, safety, and energy-saving performance than traditional oil-immersed

 transformers. In recent years, they have been favored by power users. However, due to the difficulty

 of manufacturers in breaking through the bottleneck of insulation technology and manufacturing

 process, there are very few manufacturers producing large-scale dry-type transformers, and

 domestic peer enterprises have hardly produced dry-type transformer products exceeding 25000

 KVA. In February 2012, after thorough feasibility analysis, Jinpan Electric successfully won the bid

 for the 40000KVA dry power transformer project of a 35kV substation in Anhui Province with the

 technical strength and excellent technical solutions of a leading enterprise in the industry. The

 successful bid for two 35000KVA dry-type transformers in a power plant renovation project of

 Huadian Group once again proves that Jinpan Electric's technical level is at the forefront of its

 domestic and foreign counterparts.
